Spacers, also known as separators, allow for air to flow between the layers of boxes when Freezing, Chilling and Tempering.
easyFLO Fridge and Freezer Spacers are manufactured in a state of the art facility in Midrand Johannesburg, South Africa.
Freezer Spacers have been used succesfully all around the world for over 30 years.
easyFLO Spacers are sold locally in South Africa and exported into Africa and the United Kingdom. They have proven themselves against similar European and American products and are sought after by leading local and international companies.
Obtain Better Utilization of your Freezing Plant and significantly reduce your energy usage by between 60% and 85% - SOKI Report
Increase capacity and floorspace by packing higher.
A significantly cheaper option against metal rack and plastic crate systems.
Our engineered Open Profile Spacers are designed for superior performance thanks to
maximum air flow penetration.
Spacers maximise air velocity across and within the pallet stack to provide consistent
airflow, which eliminates partial freezing.
No need to replace struggling or ageing equipment, spacers will enhance the
performance of your current equipment, reduce maintenance costs and save on wear and tear.

Save up to 50% off your energy costs

KEEPING FOOD FRESHER FOR LONGER
Do's and Donts
Do’s
Clean the spacers before and after use. Use a soft detergent with medium to hot (not boiling) water.
When stacking, pack boxes close together on each level, do not leave gaps between the boxes. This will the airflow to “tumble” and reduce the effectiveness of the spacers. Rather pack the boxes right up against each other to encourage air to flow between the spacers.
Pack the stacks in the fridge / freezer in neat rows, not haphazardly.
When storing your spacers, place them in a neat stack and keep them flat (not on their side).
Dont’s
Don’t surround the stacks that have spacers, with stacks that don’t have spacers. Rather have the entire fridge or freezer either with or without spacers.
Do not hinder the flow of air within the fridges or freezers by any means.
Don’t the shrink wrap or cover the stack at all when using spacers.
Don’t throw the spacers around, rather pack them carefully in neat stacks.
Don’t store the spacers in direct sunlight. They are not UV resistant and this will affect their lifespan.
Don’t place the stack directly against a wall or a curtain, always leave at least a 200mm gap.
Do not drive or push any machinery over the spacers.
Please do not exceed the maximum recommended weight of 1200 kgs.
